FEMININUS: Flower Crown Workshop
FEMININUS: Flower Crown Workshop
Award-winning milliner and designer Melanie Jeffers in collaboration with choreographer Melissa Lanham, present FEMININUS (Latin for feminine); a unique and hybrid exhibition of the seven archetypes of the feminine form.
Get an insight into the components involved in designing a head piece that complements a complete look. Whether it’s for the races, festival or a special event, this hands-on workshop with Melanie Jeffers will assist you on your way to designing and sewing creations from scratch.
While you're at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden, make sure you also check out The Whale's Tale (Fri 24 - Sun 26 Aug) and the Our Sunshine Coast photography exhibition (Fri 24 - Thur 30 Aug). If you feel like a hot beverage or snacks while you're exploring the gardens, the Compass Cafe will be open between 9am - 2:30pm each day.
