From Olympic Hockey Gold Medallist and champion athlete to Australia's first Aboriginal woman elected to federal parliament, Nova Peris OAM OLY is is a highly renowned Aboriginal Australian.

Her new book release in July 2018, Nova - Finding My Voice, brings a collection of Nova's memorable, passionate and influential speeches from her political career. Nova’s drive and ambition has inspired many Australians. Her novel Nova reflects on those who motivated her to have the courage to speak out on the topics she is passionate about. Her grandfather’s wise advice to her was, "If you're going to stand for something, then speak for it" (Johnny Peris).

This is a unique opportunity to meet one of Australia’s most passionate individuals as Nova shares her stories in an intimate not-to-be-missed author event with special guest interviewer Helena Gulash, Indigenous Arts & Cultural Management consultant and Kabi Kabi woman.
