Puppets in Harmony
Puppets in Harmony
Join in a weekend of festivities as the Harmony Development in Palmview comes alive!
From Friday 31 August to Sunday 2 September, Harmony will be home to Horizon Festival’s String Symphony – a large-scale, interactive performance installation that uses puppetry to explore connection, community and collaboration. The mesmerising installation invites audience members to become puppeteers and bring the illuminated giants to life, from 2pm to 8pm every day.
String Symphony Session Times
String Symphony sessions run for around 15mins, with three sessions per hour. Please note, there will be a one hour break from 4-5pm, but there's penty of other puppets and activities to keep you occupied during this time.
To celebrate the installation, we will have a feast of food trucks every day, including Neshama, Good Food Fella's and Paco's Tacos, plus the loveable Larrikin Puppets will be performing daily from 4pm to 5pm next to KAI Coffee.
This is certainly not an event to be missed! Gather your friends and family together and join us for a magical weekend, filled with giant puppets including the playful Mr Big, stilt walkers, face painting, balloon artists and free putt-putt mini golf.
