The Bunker: Poetry Competition Heats
The Bunker: Poetry Competition Heats
The Bunker Collective, a collaboration between Peripheral Arts and Writers Republic, presents a signature event series called ‘The Bunker’. The series will capture local stories and poetry through spoken word workshops, culminating in the main competition event held on the final weekend of Horizon.
There are two heats separated into poetry and storytelling, which will determine who will compete/perform at the main event at The Bunker, Imperial Hotel Eumundi.
The poetry heat is the first competition of the Bunker Series, and will see poets presenting their three minute works to a panel of judges. Once again held in the magnificent Solbar Playhouse, this heat will feature QLD Slam Champion and stand-out performer from Horizon 2017, Anisa Nandaula.
Note: Heats are open to the public for a $5 cover charge to be paid at the door.
This is an 18+ event.
