Transdimensional

Transdimensional

Journey through time and space with local public artist Russell Anderson.

This fascinating exhibition showcases a collection of sculptural apparatus, from tea bag gigglers to interactive machines.  With seductive surfaces of polished and cast bronze, brass, steel and copper, small scale artworks appear alongside a large, immersive installation. The sculptures include interactive lighting as well as engaging analogue and digital technologies.

Together, the collection offers a compelling narrative exploring the life and creations of Cornelius Dempsey, an inventor from times past, who made machines that could transport him through the multiverse.

Russell is an acclaimed public artist whose large scale sculptures can be seen throughout the country in city centres, theatres and festivals.

These displays provide a rare and fascinating immersive experience that will delight and surprise you.
